This Spring, Change Lives

Collegiate Mission Lab is a dream to link college students with needs in New Orleans. During the spring break season, it is possible that some college students are seeking a way to make a difference on the front lines of a mission field. As New Orleans continues to recover from the effects of Hurricane Katrina, there are many places where young adults can make a difference. Some of the mission sites have been designated "adult only," meaning that because of the construction issues, or environmental issues, or even the emotional sensitivity to some of the people involved, it is better that youth groups do not participate.

Many college students have come back from a mission week in New Orleans feeling physically exhausted but spiritually revived. It is an awesome thing to feel like you were used as a worker, a preacher, a social worker, a laborer, a listener, a teacher…a friend who God used in a mighty way.

Now’s the time to register for MissionLab, a customized week of mission experiences in New Orleans. We connect mission groups like yours with local ministries in the Greater New Orleans area. The Summer College MissionLab weeks are a time for young adults to experience real, hands-on ministry. More than speakers and bands, we give collegiates a chance to put feet to their faith. Spend a week at MissionLab and experience an engaging camp pastor and summer missionaries, passionate worship bands, project sites, corporate worship with other ministries serving in the city, and devotion and worship designed to take you into a deeper walk with Christ. Join in and make a difference this summer, because the beach will still be there when you’re done.
