After completing the Registration Process, the real planning begins. It is at this point that we are able to begin nailing down your ministry sites.

MissionLab works hard to provide projects that meet the maturity and spiritual level of each group. We offer a variety of choices for ministry sites and our project coordinator will work individually with each group to determine the best possible projects. You may choose one single project or a number of different smaller projects. As part of our Customized Missions Experience, we provide groups with the opportunity to be challenged and to grow spiritually. The site coordinator will assist you with information about the area, safety, and project selection. We will also be available as needed while you are at your site, and depending on the season, your group may be able to have a staff member go with your group at times throughout the week. Depending on the ministry sites you select with the help of the site coordinator, some advanced planning may be necessary. For example, if your group will be helping with a local VBS, that church may have a list of materials that you could collect or prepare before coming to New Orleans. If you will be doing construction, a list of tools to bring can be provided, and so on.

Pray that God will begin planting seeds now to widen their hearts to receive Him. God’s glory is being proclaimed in this city like never before! BEFORE YOU ARRIVE: We need your Certificate of Insurance, naming NOBTS & MGM Construction as Certificate Holders. This is mandatory as required by the seminary. You can download a sample Certificate of Insurance here. We also need a copy of your Rooming List. The appropriate form based on your choice of housing can be downloaded here. Rooming Lists are due two weeks before your arrival. A list of Housing Guidelines is available for download here.

UPON ARRIVAL: At Check-In, we will collect your Remaining Balance. We also need your Medical Release Forms, signed and notarized for each participant. You may download a copy of the Medical Release Form here. Please do not mail the forms in advance. Bring them to Check-In and we will collect the originals and keep them for our records. A Key Deposit of $30 is required for each group. The key deposit will be returned at departure, less any charges for a lost key ($10 per key).

Of course the most important aspects of your MissionLab experience will involve the personal and spiritual growth of each participant, ministering to the local community, and worshipping God through it all.
