Three Spring Weeks in March
MissionLab runs three spring program weeks from March 7 through March 21 – 26, 2027, each Sunday evening to Friday morning, with worship led by Crescent City Worship and a speaker from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

A Break That Means Something
Instead of a week off, your group spends spring break serving with local churches and ministries: neighborhood evangelism, construction and community projects, food banks, community gardens, and VBS for local kids.

Still Feels Like Spring Break
Wednesday is Night Out in New Orleans, with the French Quarter and City Park less than 15 minutes from campus. Students come home with stories from the city as well as from the work.

Spring Break Isn't in March?
If your school's break falls on a different week, book a custom year-round trip on your own dates with access to the same New Orleans ministry partners.
What a Week Looks Like
Groups arrive Sunday evening and check in on the NOBTS campus. Monday through Thursday starts with breakfast and a team devotional, then morning and afternoon ministry sites with a packed lunch in between. Evenings are dinner on campus and worship, except Wednesday, which is Night Out in New Orleans. Friday morning, you check out and head home.

I saw the Spirit moving through my students! The opportunities that were made available by this trip were so impactful not only on my youth group, but also on me. I think that not only did God use us to plant seeds in the lives of some lost people, he also lit a fire within some of my group. I've seen that they have a genuine love for the lost and the hurting.

Frequently Asked
When are the 2027 spring break mission trip dates?
Week 1: March 7 – 12, 2027 with Dr. Luke Johnson; Week 2: March 14 – 19, 2027 with Dr. Luke Johnson; Week 3: March 21 – 26, 2027 with Dr. George Ross. Every week runs Sunday evening through Friday morning, and worship is led by Crescent City Worship.
How much does a spring break mission trip cost?
$379 per person in dorm housing, or $439 in hotel-style housing. That includes housing, breakfast and dinner on campus and a packed lunch Monday through Thursday, ministry site placements, worship nights, training, and a MissionLab shirt.
What if our spring break isn't in March?
Book a custom year-round trip. We build the schedule around your dates and your group's goals, with the same access to our New Orleans ministry partners. Custom trips are $40 per person per night for dorm housing, $55 for hotel-style housing, and $14 per meal.
Who can come on a spring break mission trip?
Middle school and high school youth groups, college and collegiate ministry groups, Christian schools, adult church teams, and multi-generational family groups.
What will our group do during the week?
Ministry is customized to our partners' needs, so it varies. Groups commonly serve through neighborhood canvassing and evangelism, construction and community projects, VBS, and site organization. In almost every case your team is the only group at its ministry site.
When do we need to book?
A 10% deposit is due within 30 days of registering. Your certificate of insurance, background checks, and rooming sheet are due 60 days before arrival, which for a March week means early January, so most groups book in the fall.
